LINCOLN - An inmate who was reported missing from the Community Corrections Center in Lincoln is back in custody.

In a news release from the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services, officials say Timothy Bailey returned on his own to the facility on Sunday.

Officials say he was then transferred to the Diagnostic and Evaluation Center.

Bailey was reported missing on August 29th, when he did not return from his work release job.

He is serving a two-year sentence for drug charges and was scheduled to be released on September 25th.
