FREMONT - Officials have released more details about a grain bin incident near Fremont.

The Dodge Country Sheriff's Office says in a news release that the body of the man found inside of the grain bin has been identified as 32-year-old Zane Fecht of Bellevue.

Dodge County Sheriff Steven Hespen says rescue crews arrived at a grain elevator at 549 East County Road T near Fremont Sunday afternoon.

On arrival, crews were told a man had entered the bin to break up a crust on the grain when he fell through.

Central Valley Ag responded with a rescue team and grain vacuums during the recovery efforts.

Fecht's body was recovered around 7 hours later.

Fremont Fire and Rescue, The Dodge County Sheriff's Office and Fremont Rural Fire assisted in the recovery.

The investigation is ongoing.
