PERU - The 12th-ranked Grand View (Iowa) Vikings held off a fired-up Peru State volleyball team Friday night to win their fourth match in a row.

The Vikings topped Peru State 25-21, 25-17, 19-25, 25-22 to improve to 15-7 on the season and 9-1 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (Heart).

The Vikings outhit the Bobcats .176 to .128.

Claire Cudney had a game-high 16 kills while finishing the night hitting .310 – one of her best matches of the year.

Cassidy Davis led the team with 27 assists

The 'Cats fell to 5-18 overall and 2-5 in conference play.
 
The match was delayed for over 45 minutes as Grand View was held up in traffic on Highway 2 due to an accident in Iowa.
