Two Antelope County Commissioners are getting kicked out of office less than one year into their first terms.
NELIGH - Two Antelope County Commissioners are getting kicked out of office less than one year into their first terms.
Unofficial results indicate that District 3 Commissioner Allan Bentley and District 5 Commissioner Tom Borer will both be recalled after Tuesday's vote.
Borer's unofficial results are: 337 votes to recall the Chairman of the Board, and 187 votes to keep him.
Bentley saw similar unofficial results, with 307 votes to recall the him, and 174 votes to keep him.
Borer and Bentley are accused of mismanaging county funds and misappropriation of taxpayer dollars. Both have denied the allegations.
Recall affidavits for the two of them were filed back in July.
The results will be official once they are approved by the Canvassing Board.
