WYMORE - The boil order in effect for the Wymore Rural Water System has been lifted. The Lower Big Blue NRD made that announcement Thursday afternoon.
Special samples were submitted to the state's department of health and human services, and tested negative for total coliform and E. coli bacteria.
The Wymore Rural Water System, which serves over 200 customers in rural Gage County between Beatrice and Wymore, was first placed under a boil notice on Oct. 29.
The Wymore Rural Water System also had a boil notice last December after a transmission line suffered a break.
