Nebraska City High School had multiple students medal at the Central Players Invitational at Raymond Central on January 18th.

Christian Tietz, Lillian Frields, Eric Poggemeyer, Trey Pursel, and Elijah McNeely placed 12th in Oral Interpretation of Drama. Christian and Lillian placed 11th overall for Duet Acting. Ellie Higgins placed 3rd overall in both Humorous and Serious Prose. 

"I am confident about the progress the team has made this year so far, and compared to last year, we have more people on the team which bodes well for the conference and district contest," Pioneers Coach Justin Aaberg said.

The Pioneer speech team will travel to Lincoln, NE next Saturday for the Lincoln Southwest Silver Talon.
