NORFOLK - Norfolk Public Schools officials have announced the promotion of two school district staff.

On Thursday, Dr. Jami Jo Thompson announced that Erik Wilson, current Assistant Principal at Norfolk High and Angie Baumann, current Principal at Westside Elementary will be promoted to District Administration positions for the 2020-2021 school year.

Wilson will be the new Director of Student Services and Safety and Baumann will be the new Director of Human Resources and Accreditation for NPS.

Pending Board of Education approval, the two will assume their new responsibilities on July 1st, 2020.

The search for candidates to fill their positions will begin immediately following the approval.
