SIDNEY, NE - The Case IH Dealer Group in the Nebraska Panhandle will soon be under new ownership. 

In a news release, Titan Machinery Inc. announced Tuesday morning it will expand into the markets of Sidney and Scottsbluff in Nebraska and Torrington, Wyoming. 

With the retirement of HorizonWest's founding partner, Titan Machinery will acquire the assets of HorizonWest and become the Case IH Dealer in the area, according to the release. 

The sale is anticipated to close in early May. 

“HorizonWest is a clean, organized and well managed group of Stores” Titan Machinery CEO David Meyer said in the release. “Farming practices, crops, and equipment is very similar to other Titan Machinery markets with both Irrigated and Dryland Corn, Soybeans, Wheat, Edible Beans, Sugar Beets, and Alfalfa being grown along with diversified cattle ranches and feedlots.

Titan Machinery was founded in 1980. It has 74 dealerships across 11 U.S. states, including its North Platte and Imperial, Nebraska locations. It also has 30 European dealerships in Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Germany and Ukraine
