Man Arrested For Domestic Assault, Resisting Arrest

LINCOLN - A man is in jail after authorities say he hit a woman causing serious injuries.
Lincoln Police say officers were called to the 1200 block of E Street on a reported that a female had been assaulted on Tuesday.
Police arrived and found the victim with multiple facial injuries and was unresponsive.
The victim, a 32-year-old woman, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Witnesses told police that the woman’s boyfriend, 32-year-old Majok Riak, had punched and kicked her several times.
Riak was arrested after he returned to the area looking for the victim.
Police say he resisted officers by throwing his body around, kicking at officers, and refusing to get into the cruiser.
He was arrested for 1st Degree Domestic Assault and Resisting Arrest. The victim is still in the hospital at this time.
