LISCO, NE - As storms ripped through western Nebraska Monday night, some woke up Tuesday to see the damage they had left behind.

These photos from Garden County Commissioner Terry Krauter show damage in the town of Lisco, Nebraska. Lisco is about 60 miles northwest of Ogallala on Highway 26.

Lisco was under a severe thunderstorm warning just before 10:00 p.m. MDT Monday night. The storms brought high winds and, in some cases, hail with them.

Garden County and the southern part of the Panhandle along with much of southern Nebraska is under a high wind warning for most of Tuesday as well.

The warnings last until Tuesday night in western Nebraska, but are not set to expire until early Wednesday morning in the eastern part of the state.
