Columbus police arrest two for drugs following threats call
COLUMBUS - Authorities have arrested two Columbus residents for drugs after what started out as a terroristic threats call.
Columbus police said on Thursday, they got a call from someone saying a woman broke into their house and threatened them with a gun.
CPD said officers later found the woman at her home on the 2900 block of Linden Drive, where they served a search warrant.
Inside the home, police said they found two handguns, more than 200 grams of marijuana, a pipe with trace amounts of suspected meth, digital scales and more than $450 in cash.
They arrested Kristie and Tommy Ballentine for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Kristie is also facing charges of terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony. Her bond is set at $250,000 and she's scheduled to appear in court on July 6.
Tommy Ballentine has a $50,000 bond and his court date is set for July 8.
