Cozad man dies at Johnson Lake
The Gosper County Sheriff’s Office says 38 year old Juan Gonzalez was driving north on Johnson Lake Drive when he drove through a bridge guard rail at the outlet bridge and went into the lake.

COZAD - The Gosper County Sheriff’s Office says 38 year old Juan Gonzalez was driving north on Johnson Lake Drive when he drove through a bridge guard rail at the outlet bridge and went into the lake.
Witnesses nearby called 911 around 9 pm.
First responders and Lexington’s Dive and Rescue were able to locate the 2006 Jeep quickly.
Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor.
The Nebraska State Patrol, Dawson County Sheriff’s Office as well at Johnson Lake EMS and Elwood Fire and Rescue assisted in the accident.
