OMAHA - Omaha area school districts are planning on mixing things up this fall.
Papillion LaVista Community Schools announced a remote learning option would be available.
Students must enroll one semester at a time. The district says any student participating in remote learning will not be allowed to participate in athletics or other extracurricular activities.
The remote learning option will begin August 18th. Students will receive an hour lunch break each day. Otherwise, they're expected to be online or completing assignments during the rest of the school day. Attendance will be taken.
