Prison Time for Man who Assaulted Pregnant Woman
It was his third offense against the same woman, who was pregnant at the time.

A Macy man is now set to serve the maximum possible sentence for beating a pregnant woman, his third conviction against the same victim.
In a news release, the Department of Justice says Clayton Bertucci, age 32, was sentenced to serve 60 months in prison by the United States District Court for Domestic Assault by a Habitual Offender.
On December 22nd of 2018, Bertucci chased the victim out of her mother's house and knocked her to the ground.
He then kicked the victim while she was on the ground, stopping only when a police cruiser arrived. Bertucci knew that the victim was pregnant at the time of the assault.
After serving his sentence of 60 months, Bertucci will continue to serve 3 years of supervised release.
