SUNOL - The Sidney Cycle Association hosted their biggest racing event in three years at the Sunol track on Saturday and Sunday.

Nearly 250 riders participated each day on the final weekend of the Tri-State Dirt Riders Summer Series.

Association member Cory Lundgren says several local riders were battling for position in the point standing. Season trophies will be handed out at the TSDR Awards Banquet on Nov. 14 in Gering.

Lundgren, Jason Gartner, Charles Shenkel (two individual titles), Jaydin Gartner, Buff Durkee and Nicole Marks each finished in first place last weekend.
