Hastings stabbing suspect arrested on other warrants

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The man suspected in a weekend stabbing in Hastings has been arrested in Grand Island.
Grand Island police arrested Michael Enquist on two outstanding Adams County warrants for incidents not related to the stabbing.
Enquist was arrested at a convenience store Wednesday afternoon. The warrants are for suspicion of strangulation and terroristic threats.
Hastings police were called to the emergency room at Mary Lanning Healthcare early Sunday morning where a 33-year-old man was being treated for a stab wound to the throat.
The stabbing reportedly happened at a home on West 3rd Street where the victim and the other man were involved in an argument.
Police identified Enquist as a suspect at that time.
The victim was sent to a hospital in Lincoln for further treatment of what is being described as non-threatening injuries.
