DENVER (AP) — Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden won the state of Colorado, while Democrat John Hickenlooper defeated Republican Sen. Cory Gardner in one of the closest-watched U.S. Senate races in the nation.

First time Republican candidate and gun rights activist Lauren Boebert won a hard-fought race to replace GOP Rep. Scott Tipton in the vast 3rd Congressional District.

Voters rejected an initiative to limit abortion and approved a law that would commit the state’s presidential electoral votes to the winner of the national popular vote.

An initiative to reintroduce the gray wolf was too early to call, with votes still being counted.
