A northeast Nebraska school has moved to remote learning due to COVID-19.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge schools says starting today, grades 9-12 will participate in remote learning for two weeks, ending on Friday, Nov. 20th.
School officials say the move was necessary because nearly 50 percent of the high school students have been impacted by isolation or quarantine requirements.
Students at both the elementary school and middle school will continue with in-person learning at this time.
“Our goal is for students to see improved health during the next two weeks by staying apart from each other so that we can successfully resume in-person learning, as well as student participation in activities,” said superintendent Jeremy Christiansen.
