BEATRICE - Beatrice Public School students in grades six through twelve are not in classes today…a teacher preparation day for transitioning to Tier Four, or online learning.

A surge in coronavirus cases prompted the district last week to announce the change.  Prekindergarten through fifth grade students will have classes today, as normal…and will continue with in-person classes.

District 15 now reports ten active Covid-19 cases affecting Beatrice High School, with seven at the middle school.  There are two cases each at Paddock Lane Elementary and the Beatrice Community Preschool.  No current active cases are being seen at Lincoln and Stoddard Elementary buildings.
