Man wanted for Omaha murder killed in attempted arrest
18-year-old Jaquan Haynes was shot by law enforcement officers attempting to serve a murder warrant in Atlanta on Tuesday.

OMAHA, Neb. - A man who was wanted in connection with the murder of an Omaha woman has been killed in Georgia. U.S. Marshals have confirmed that 18-year-old Jaquan Haynes was shot during an attempted arrest.
On October 29th, Omaha Police discovered 19-year-old Nomi Herrera suffering from a gunshot wound in the front seat of a vehicle at 33rd and Weber. Herrera died from her injuries a day later in an Omaha hospital.
On November 6th, a 15-year-old juvenile female was arrested for accessory to first-degree murder, and a warrant was subsequently issued for Haynes.
US Marshals say that Haynes was shot and killed by law enforcement in an attempt to serve a murder warrant Tuesday.
