OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Omaha Police responded to several incidents Friday night into Saturday morning, including a teenager who was attacked while working at Taco Bell.
Police reported responding to a cutting at 7:53 p.m. at Taco Bell near Fort and N 90th Streets.
Witnesses told investigators a 17-year-old employee had been cut while outside the restaurant and then staggered inside. The victim had several cutting injuries and was taken to Nebraska Medical Center. Their injuries were found to be non-life-threatening.
Officers later responded to another cutting incident at 12:33 a.m. at Immanuel Hospital. Officers met with the victim, a 48-year-old man, who had suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was unable to provide information on any suspects.
At 3:04 a.m., police responded to a walk-in shooting victim at Nebraska Medical Center. The 24-year-old man was found to have suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot injury. He had arrived at the hospital via ambulance for what he thought was a fireworks injury. He told officers he did not know how he was shot.
At 9:59 a.m., police responded to the Family Dollar near 36th and Q Streets for a reported robbery.
An employee told investigators a suspect entered the store, indicated he had a gun and demanded money. After receiving cash, the suspect fled the store westbound and was described as a black male wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, stocking cap, jeans and a mask.
