An investigation conducted by the FBI determined that in July 2019, Discord, a digital file sharing company reported several files of minors under the age of 12 engaging in sexually explicit conduct were distributed various times in February and March of that year.

Discord captured several IP addresses and an email account tied to Duncan. The FBI then executed a federal search and seized Duncan’s cellular phone. Forensic analysis of the phone found 42 images of minors engaging in explicit conduct, including the specific images identified by Discord. Duncan later admitted to the distribution of the images.
