SIDNEY, NE — After round one of thunderstorms pushed through the Nebraska Panhandle and northeast Colorado Thursday, more weather could be on the way Friday and Saturday. 

The National Weather Service has placed a large portion of the Panhandle and northeast Colorado under a slight risk for severe weather on Friday. The southern half of the Panhandle and remains at the same risk level for Saturday as does northeast Colorado. 

NWS officials in Cheyenne say the main time window for storms to move through the area is between 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. 

They says the will form near Laramie before making their way toward Nebraska. 

The strongest storms could produce 60 mile per hour winds and localized quarter to golf ball size hail.
