It's been two years since a western Nebraska man went missing, but his family isn't giving up hope.

Chance Englebert has been missing since July 6th, 2019 and was last seen in Gering, and now a memorial walk and run is being held to keep his name remembered.

His mother, Dawn Englebert says local police departments are not actively searching for her son anymore, but she doesn't want him to be forgotten. She hopes this event can spread awareness.

There is no fee to register, but t-shirts are available for purchase.

The run and walk can be anytime from July 6th to July 10th.

If you have any information on Chance's case, you can contact the Scotts Bluff Police Department.
