Blame it all on COVID.

Less than one week after playing for 90,000 fans at Lincoln's Memorial Stadium, Garth Brooks has announced the suspension of his remaining stadium tour dates through the end of 2021.

The country star made the announcement Wednesday, citing the latest wave of COVID-19 cases.

In a statement the country music star writes, "It is with a heavy heart we announce the decision to cancel all 5 shows, but with a hopeful heart we will reschedule and start over when this wave seems to be behind us."

Ticketmaster will automatically issue refunds to fans.

Brooks hopes to reschedule the shows for 2022.
