NCN announces Lincoln Thursday Night Football TV Schedule

LINCOLN - The capital city's prep talent will be showcased to the entire state on a weekly basis this fall.
News Channel Nebraska is designating eight Thursday nights this upcoming season to televise games involving Lincoln high schools. The effort is being branded as Lincoln Thursday Night Football on NCN.
This fall will be the first time NCN's live high school sports programming has included a specific focus on Lincoln.
"There is some great talent in the capital city, and it's exciting that we're adding Lincoln to our diverse TV broadcast schedule," NCN Director of Sports Content, Brandon Aksamit said. "This fall, high school football fans across the state will get to enjoy watching Lincoln match ups on Thursdays and greater Nebraska contests on Fridays."
The games will be viewable on News Channel Nebraska in Lincoln on Spectrum (channels 98 and 1233), Allo (channel 181), and over the air antenna (channel 27.2). All of NCN's games are also streamed online via the NFHS Network, which requires a subscription. Streaming can be done on the web and mobile, in addition to NFHS Network's separate apps for Roku, FireStick and AppleTV.
The announcer team will include Brandon Aksamit on play-by-play with NCN's Andy Classen and KLIN's Jack Mitchell splitting color commentary duties.
Thursday Night Football on NCN is being presented by Liberty First Credit Union.
