SCOTTSBLUFF - An Alliance woman and two juveniles suffered minor injuries in a vehicle crash that closed an intersection for about an hour in Scottsbluff Saturday afternoon.

Scottsbluff police say Alex Jines, 30, was driving her 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander westbound on Highway 26 when it entered the intersection at Ave. B and was struck by a 2019 Toyota 4Runner, driven by Mark Boles, 62, of Hilham, Tenn. 

Jines and the two juveniles, whose names where not released, were transported to Regional West Medical Center for minor injuries.

Boles was cited for failing to stop for a red traffic signal. He declined treatment. 

Both vehicles were towed from the scene and considered a total loss.

The Scottsbluff Fire Department and Valley Ambulance assisted at the scene.
