LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office responded to a fatality crash on Highway 2. 

Sunday around 12:30 p.m., Bennet Fire and Rescue, Lincoln Fire and Rescue, the Nebraska State Patrol and the Lincoln Police Department all responded to the accident on Highway 2 between South 120th Street and South 134th Street. 

Police say that an investigation indicated that an eastbound Chevrolet pickup, driven by 43-year-old Eli Miller, crossed the center line and struck a westbound semi truck, driven by 47-year-old Vincent Wood. 

Miller was pronounced dead at the scene, and Wood was treated for minor injuries by a local hospital. 

Police say that Wood was wearing his seatbelt and believed to not be under the influence. Miller was not wearing his seatbelt and whether he was under the influence or not is unknown. 

Miller's next of kin has been notified. This crash is under investigation.
