GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- Authorities say two people, including a child, were injured in a car-school bus crash in central Nebraska. 

KSNB Local 4 report the Hall County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened on Highway 30 East of Wood River. 

A Wood River school bus was slowing down to turn when it was hit by a car. 

Rescue crews took the driver and one child from the bus to a hospital in Grand Island for minor injuries. 

Authorities say the school bus was full at the time of the accident. 

The car driver was cited for careless driving.
