Lisa Lockhart of Oelrichs capped her 30th professional rodeo season and 16th straight appearance at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas by finishing 4th in Barrel Racing.

Lockhart missed placing in the final round by 1-100th of a second, but still finished 3rd in average for the NFR to earn another $47,000 – giving her $159,000 in Vegas. In October, she became just the second WPRA member to cross the $3-million mark in career earnings.

     Bareback rider Garrett Shadbolt of Merriman had a tough time in Vegas, finishing in the money only twice – tying for 2nd in the 4th round and placing 3rd in the 8th. Shadbolt ended 13th in the world and 10th in average, earning about $37,000 at the NFR and $151,000 for the season.

       Jessica Routier of Buffalo, SD, finished 15th in Barrel Riding while the SD Team Roping duo of Levi Lord from Stugris and Junior Dees of Aurora were 5th in the world.

    Stetson Wright of Utah was this year’s World Champion All-Around Cowboy with a single-season PRCA earnings record of $927,940 as well as the All-Around single-season record of $758,829 plus the Bull Riding single-season record at $592,144. Wright earned $271,545 in Bull Riding at the NFR.
