After more than a year of construction, the Hastings YMCA is set to open their brand new pool on Monday.

Hastings YMCA weathers rising costs, breaks ground on renovation project
After more than a year of construction, the Hastings YMCA is set to open their brand-new pool on Monday.
According to the YMCA’s Facebook page, the pool will open at 7:00 am on Monday, Nov. 6, to members and program participants only. Non-member of the YMCA can begin to use the pool on November 20.
Pool and class schedules will be released on the Hastings YMCA website this weekend.
The $19.4 million construction and renovation project began in August of 2022. Construction will continue on the new YMCA addition and near the pool.
Completion of the entire new facility is on schedule to finish in Spring of 2024.
