GRAND ISLAND, Neb. - Dylan Janzen scored a season-high 21 points and Adams Central held off Grand Island Central Catholic in overtime for a 54-44 win.

Janzen poured in 15 of his game-high point total in second half and overtime to propel the Patriots (11-3) to their second OT road win this month. The Crusaders (4-9) lost their shooting touch late in the game, which was their first in 14 days thanks to weather postponements.

GICC used strong three-point shooting to take a lead 25-24 at halftime. Braylon Wolfe and Thomas Liban each hit three three-pointers in the first half.

Janzen caught fire in the second half and overtime to get the win. Still, the Patriots never led in the fourth quarter and had to hold off a last-second attempt by the Crusaders to win it in regulation. Austin Vontz made the first basket in overtime and Adams Central held GICC scoreless in the four-minute bonus period.
