SCOTTSBLUFF/BANNER COUNTY -- The results for the 2024 General Election are in for Scottsbluff and Banner Counties. 

Republican Donald Trump won the Presidential votes from Scottsbluff and Banner Counties receiving 10,886 votes in Scottsbluff County and 347 votes in Banner. Kamala received 3,807 votes in Scottsbluff County and 34 votes in Banner. 

Republican incumbent Adrian Smith won the votes for The Representative in Congress District 3 in Scottsbluff and Banner Counties with 11,093 votes in Scottsbluff and 346 votes in Banner. Democrat Daniel Ebers received 3,561 votes in Scottsbluff and 34 votes in Banner. 

The 6-year term U.S. Senator nominee is Republican incumbent Deb Fischer running against Dan Osborn by petition for the 6-year term U.S. Senator seat. 

Fischer came ahead in the race with 9,297 votes in Scottsbluff and 310 votes Banner, while Osborn received 5,447 in Scottsbluff and 74 votes in Banner. 

The 2-year term U.S. Senator Republican nominee Pete Ricketts faced Democrat Preston Love Jr., with Ricketts coming in the lead in both counties receiving 11,152 votes in Scottsbluff and 357 votes in Banner, while Love received 3,557 votes in Scottsbluff and 25 votes in Banner. 

Judge Julie Martin has retained her position in both counties with 10,379 votes for yes in Scottsbluff and 237 votes for yes in Banner. Scottsbluff County had 2,104 votes for no while Banner County had 70 votes for no. 

Judge Derek Weimer has retained his position in both counties with 10,599 votes for yes in Scottsbluff and 254 votes for yes in Banner. Scottsbluff County had 2,155 votes for no while Banner County had 72 votes for no. 

The six-year term Gering Board of Education School District 16 candidates ran unopposed, which are Joshua Lacy, Tracy Wiese and Matthew Kautz. 

The 6-year term Chimney Rock Public Power District for Board of Directors At Large are Larry A. Fiscus with 802 votes in Scottsbluff and 12 votes in Banner, and Dan Camine with 624 votes in Scottsbluff and 9 votes in Banner. 

Karen S. Anderson was voted onto the Western Community College for Board of Governors District 4 with 6,045 votes in Scottsbluff and 300 votes in Banner County. 

John P. Stinner was voted onto the WCC for Board of Governors At Large with 12,219 votes in Scottsbluff and 302 votes in Banner. 

Four individuals were voted into The North Platte Natural Resources District for Board of Directors for subdistrict 1 – 4. 

Dan Weinreis was voted onto Subdistrict 1 with 11,843 votes in Scottsbluff and 312 votes in Banner. Chuck Henkel was voted onto subdistrict 2 with 11,819 votes in Scottsbluff and 314 votes in Banner. David L Deines was voted onto subdistrict 3 with 11,712 votes in Scottsbluff and 315 votes in Banner. Roger Eirich was voted onto Subdistrict 4 with 11,523 votes in Scottsbluff and 305 votes in Banner. 

Kim Burry, Christina Mascher and Jessica Dankowski were voted onto the Bayard School District 21 School Board. Burry received 124 votes in Scottsbluff and 6 votes in Banner, Mascher received 66 votes in Scottsbluff and 5 votes in Banner, and Dankowski received 81 votes in Scottsbluff and 5 votes in Banner. Karl Grueber came up short with 55 votes in Scottsbluff and 2 votes in Banner. 

Jerry Stricker and Scott Phillips won seats on the Scottsbluff City Council. Sticker received 2,220 votes and Phillips received 1,800 votes. Selina Lerma received 1,584 votes, and Kasandra Lauder received 1,764 votes. 

Douglas C. French and Gary R. Martin won seats on the Mitchell City Council. French received 328 votes and Martin received 304 votes. Kyle Kakuda came up short with 235 votes. 

Carolyn Nelson is the new Mayor of Minatare, receiving 146 votes, while Frank F. Costa received 104 votes. 

Republican Don L. Lease ran unopposed for Banner County Board of Commissioners, receiving 314 votes. 

The Banner County School District 1 School Board Members who ran unopposed are Laura M. Baker with 252 votes, Jacob P. Knaub and John-Robert J. Faden, both receiving 277 votes. 

Stephen C. Diemoz was voted onto the Educational Service Unit No. 13 District 12, receiving 286 in Banner.

The initiative measure 434 passed in both counties with 9,343 votes in Scottsbluff and 278 votes in Banner in favor. Scottsbluff had 5,002 votes against it and Banner had 92 votes against. 

The initiative measure 435 retained in both counties with 7,310 votes in Scottsbluff and 182 votes in Banner to retain. Scottsbluff had 6,584 votes to repeal, and Banner had 173 votes to repeal. 

The initiative measure 436 passed in both counties with 10,525 votes in Scottsbluff and 206 votes in Banner in favor. Scottsbluff had 3,445 votes against it and Banner had 144 votes against. 

The initiative measure 437 failed in Banner County with 190 against and 164 in favor. It passed in Scottsbluff County with 9,177 votes in favor and 4,895 against it. 

The initiative measure 438 failed in Banner County with 206 votes against and 149 votes in favor. It passed in Scottsbluff County with 8,567 votes in favor and 5,473 against it. 

The initiative measure 439 failed with 100 in favor to 277 against. It passed in Scottsbluff County with 5,888 votes in favor of the amendment to 8,564 against.
